North Fork Real Estate Showcase: 7 Artists of the North Fork Art Collective

A collective is a group of entities that share a common interest and are motivated to achieve a common objective. For seven young artists living and working on the East End, that objective is to bring varying mediums of art together in an approachable, unpretentious place, and share their work and ideas with the masses. The North Fork Art Collective on Front Street in Greenport is a pop-up working studio and gallery in a temporary space with a lasting goal.

Long Island Pulse: Kelly Franké Brings Art to the Big Screen

In a studio facing Greenport Harbor, a large desk is a transient home to pieces of birch wood and paper, each making their voyage from blank canvas to finished art. Walls are covered with encouraging letters and notes to the artist, and photos of loved ones remind her to stay focused and finish the work at hand. Shelves of art books are a given, with charcoal smudges on antique and handmade canisters holding the necessary creative tools in an inspired space. This is the studio of Kelly Franké.
